Scope

AICORTEX Backup is private software operated by its author for personal use. It is not offered to the public, has no other users, and no account can be created on it. These terms describe the operation of that private tool.

Use of Google services

The application uses the Google Drive API under the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope to store encrypted backup archives in the operator's own Google Drive. Use of Google Drive is additionally governed by Google's own terms. The application's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

No warranty

The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The operator makes no guarantee that backups will complete, that uploads will succeed, or that archives will be recoverable, and accepts no liability for any loss of data arising from its use.

Encryption and key custody

Archives are encrypted client-side before upload. The encryption keys are held solely by the operator and are not recoverable by Google or by any other party. If those keys are lost, the archives are permanently unreadable by design.
